Hofmann Training is a relatively young company founded by Eva Hofmann at the beginning of 2013.
Eva Hofmann, CEO and Consultant
Eva Hofmann is German and speaks German as her mother tongue. She used to work for several years in the management of German railway. In that time she has developed a very good feel for German business language. Eva Hofmann is familiar with correspondence to the board or with legal terms and formulating.
Eva Hofmann holds a Master in Business Administration. She was awarded with the prestigious scholarship of the Foundation of German Business (Stiftung Deutscher Wirtschaft) whilst studying for her MBA. Until now, Eva Hofmann is well connected with businesses and key players primarily in Germany.
At present, Eva Hofmann lives with her familiy in Riga. She doesn´t speak faultlessly Latvian yet, but her language skills become every day better. Nethertheless, her English is fluent.
Maite Anna Schewe, Consultant
Maite Anna Schewe studied Sociology, Cultural Anthropology and Public Law in Freiburg/Germany and Sevilla/Spain. She has worked in renowned culture and education institutions such as the Goethe-Institute and Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. Most of her job experience is related to Marketing, Public Relations, Press, Consulting, Event Management and Teaching. During maternity leave and since March 2012, she spends most of her time in Riga where her husband works. During her professional career, she also spent time in Barcelona, Brussels and London. Besides German, Maite Anna Schewe speaks English, Spanish and French and currently learns Latvian. She also offers individual German language training.
Elza Jakobsone, Junior-Consultant
Elza Jakobsone is Latvian. She holds a degree in law from the University of Latvia and is specialized in commercial law and labor law. Therefore, she complements the Hofmann Consulting team well with her expertise in Latvian law. Elza Jakobsone studied partly at the University of Munster, too. Consequently, her German language is fluent and her know-how of German law is very good. Apart from Latvian and German language, she knows English and Russian.
